Any Irish Brides available to you? Is other people getting married in Ireland?

Congrats Cait soon to get then just just what place have u picked?

Littleredhead a good option for a hen do from the west coast will be galway in my experience – in fact il prob have mine there but if u are goin in a large group be careful to enter pubs in smaller teams just as if they kno u certainly are a hen u could possibly get turned away.

Just as much as i love sligo i wouldnt suggest a hen here! Plus galway comes with an airport where u can travel in from a reasonable few areas

Our company is residing in manchester and hopin to maneuver home quickly but have always been finding it tough to make any plans bein up to now away – the world wide web is my saviour and e-mail my best friend (therefore sad) lol!

Im up in Northern Ireland. We have hitched in Belfast in 25 times.

Ooh, many many thanks for the advice – but can we ask; why can you maybe maybe not recommend Sligo? Could it be given that it’s quiet and small? If so, that is exactly what i am to locate!

I must say I want somewhere we could lease a cottage nearby the coastline, select long coastline walks and locate a lovely cosy but pub that is lively as opposed to bars or groups, for the nights!

I know it seems actually stupid and like We be seduced by every thing We see on television, but i’d like the sort of Ireland the thing is in movies like PS I favor you – with a lot of rurally goodness and old-fashioned music. H2B’s moms and dads are Irish (though he is never resided there) and we also’re having a couple of nods to that particular in the wedding (Irish ceilidh in the place of a disco. Can’t wait! ) as both of us are really taken with Irish music, culture and dancing. I would ike to stick to the theme to my hen too night!

I’M Irish and residing in Cheshire. Not going to get married in Ireland but I would imagine we will have a ongoing party for family and friends who cant make.

Littleredhead – I agree with Bacon become, Galway is really a place that is great get and you will frequently find trad music etc in tiny pubs as well as its from the cosincetline as well. Possibly go out a little further towards Clifden then you’ve got the choice of going into Galway in the event that you have a little annoyed or even for materials.

Gorgeous an element of the national nation however.

It really is tiny not a lot of clubs which explains why i wouldnt reccomend it for that – but coastline wise we do involve some breathtaking ones esp aughris head beach that has a beach that is small with a thatched roof. Then again u are very far out from anythig else actually – galway offers a beneficial mixture of both great beaches great environment and then i would reccomend Taffes bar on shop st! Always a great band there with a great atmosphere if what u are looking for is a ceili

If u look up sligo beaches there maybe some more – strandhill is really a place that is lovely a few of bars (likewise have trad music too) and gorgeous coastline (really where mr bacon proposed. )

Hope that can help

I am a bride that is irish surviving in Manchester atm, but going back into the north coastline in about per month approximately (originally from Lisburn), H2B has their dream job there – yey!! Sooo. Wedding planning is going to be a complete lot easier. We’re engaged and getting married on 26th at Lusty Beg in Fermanagh june. We am so freaking excited already!! Meeep!!

Some other Fermanagh b2b’s?

Aw my cousin had hers in Lusty Beg a years that are few.

It absolutely was GORGEOUS!

I experienced mine in Belfast Castle! =

Wow, many thanks for most of the advice, particularly considering I completely hijacked your thread! I acquired spoke and overexcited to my MOH about any of it; we are really now evaluating Sligo and County Cork. Perhaps not the city it self, but someplace more rural within the county.

I’m from Sligo, residing in London and having hitched in Italy i realize exactly what your going through with perhaps perhaps perhaps not being there to organise etc. Can be very stressfull. Where have you been marrying and where is reception??

I am from Belfast, but reside in Cambridge, and I also’m getting married in Belfast.

MrsMac our company is gettin hitched in mullinabreena church and then goin to lough rynn house in mohill we had been lookin at harveys point but thats too far and castle dargan but out budget doesnt stretch that far lol! Where are ye gettin hitched?

Best of luck mrsptobe let us kno just exactly how every thing goes – wish all of the planning is certainly going well for you personally

Littleredhead u are welcome ive never ever visited cork but in my opinion it seems ideal for just just what ur after – kerry can also be a striking destination – really the entire of ireland can be so whereever u go u may have a fab time why don’t we kno where u choose if u require virtually any advice il assistance where i’m able to email protected

Littleredhead – if you’re taking a look at cork clonakilty is just a good lcoation with some lovely restaurants and bars with real time music plus some great beaches into the vicinity

MrsMac2010 – i will be additionally from Ireland (carlow) staying in London and having married in Italy; o)

LittleRedHead -I got hitched in Cork City October that is last!!

We married when you look at the North Cathedral and had our reception in Blarney. Location-wise it is superb and never past an acceptable limit through the populous town either. You could have your picture’s taken during the castle helping to make a backdrop that is lovely permitting. Regrettably, we had beenn’t in a position to make the most of this because it rained (unusually for Ireland!! ) on our big day!

We had been straight back during the place on Sunday for the anniversary dinner, and just took place to look into their wedding brochures. They will have some fantastic packages there which appear really the best value for cash.

There is also a sister hotel in Bunratty, Co Clare that will be just gorgeous! We invested our vacation here after a slight catastrophe with the initial resort we booked, and so they could not do sufficient for all of us!

Hope this can help. Email me personally if you like further assistance or info.

BTW – should you choose elect to head to Galway, DON’T go right to the Galway Bay. That has been where we’d a tragedy because of the available rooms, and had to go to Bunratty. The ‘G’ is more preferable IMO.

Hi I’d my hen week-end at Lough Rynn this past year, it really is therefore breathtaking, we remained when you look at the accommodation thats within the grounds, high grade accommodation. Had lunch in Lough rynn it was lovely, it had been so cosy the direction they have actually the split seating areas it’s like getting your very very own family room, the top space in which you may have your pre supper products was lovely, that they had the biggest christmas tree up. Hoping to go back this season for the anniversary that is first and at Lough rynn. Enjoy all the prep for the wedding I happened to be on this type of downer whenever ours ended up being over.
